Experience

Ameya Gokhale joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co in 2015 as a partner after leaving Khaitan & Co as a principal associate in August 2013. He began his career at Amarchand Mangaldas after graduating in 2005, followed by an LLM, and has been an independent practitioner appearing as lead counsel before various forums. He regularly advises clients on complex legal issues and appears as lead counsel before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, District Courts, and National Company Law Tribunal. His experience includes representing Nestle India in a judicial review against the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India, insolvency litigation, arbitration matters such as defending a performance guarantee invocation, and matters involving the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
